Dr. Timothy Govers

Doctor Govers received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Davis in 1979. He is board certified in avian, canine, and feline medicine. He is a past President, Vice President, and Program Director of the Santa Clara Valley Veterinary Medical Association. Founder of the Avian Medical Group and member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Dr. Govers is the owner of West Valley Pet Clinic and has practiced here since 1981.

Professional Interests: Avian medicine and surgery, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, general surgery, endoscopy, pocket pet medicine and surgery.


 
Dr. Danielle Olsen
Dr. Aleisha Nesset  

 

Born and raised in the Midwest, Dr. Aleisha Nesset received her veterinary degree from Iowa State University and also carries a Masters in Public Health from the University of Iowa. She routinely volunteers with a local feral cat, trap and release, spay and neuter program. She is a member of the American Veterinary Association, California Veterinary Association, and the Santa Clara Veterinary Association.

The "Nesset Wild Kingdom" at home includes 2 dogs - Indy and Gypsy, 2 cats - Bast and Cleopatra, and a husband. Her free free time is spent exploring the Bay Area - recommendations for new adventures are welcome!

Professional interests: Animal surgery,dermatology, pocket pets, and geriatric medicine.


 

 

Dr. Valerie Brons
Dr.Valerie Brons  

Dr. "Val" comes to West Valley Pet Clinic from Britain. Originally from Saratoga, California, Dr. Val studied at the University of California, Davis before receiving her veterinary degree from the Royal Veterinary College in London, England. She became a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2004.

Dr. Val practiced in Wales, England for three years before returning to California with her Welsh cat. She practiced briefly in Monterey before returning to the Bay Area. Her associations include the California and the American Veterinary Medical Associations, the British Veterinary Zoological Society, and the European Association of Avian Veterinarians.

Professional Interests: Senior feline medicine, dog and cat dentistry, avian medicine and surgery as well as "pocket pets".
