Doctor Govers received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Davis in 1979. He is board certified in avian, canine, and feline medicine. He is a past President, Vice President, and Program Director of the Santa Clara Valley Veterinary Medical Association. Founder of the Avian Medical Group and member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Dr. Govers is the owner of West Valley Pet Clinic and has practiced here since 1981.

Professional Interests: Avian medicine and surgery, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, general surgery, endoscopy, pocket pet medicine and surgery.

Dr. Kirsten Krick is a native of the San Francisco Bay area and received her undergraduate degree from Smith College. She was granted her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2004. She received her certification in acupuncture in July, 2004 from Colorado State University and the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association.

Professional Interests: Internal medicine, veterinary acupuncture and pain management, exotics medicine, and soft tissue surgery.
